At home Alex has been watching videos of whales bring washed up dead and scientifically evaluated – much like the one at the museum in melbourne. He’s been washing a fishing program called deadliest catch, or chasing monsters or similar. There’s also been minecraft youtube, playing minecraft and back to playing school of dragons. Alex loved watching the movie ‘journey to the mysterious island’. The neighbours have been over to play too – Alex often asks if they’re home yet and is eager to see them.
We went to Harbour Town with friends for a play. We met Santa, I was surprised that the kids went up and hugged him!
The kids visited Buni & Gigi. Alex loves seeing the pigeons, Daniel likes it too. Alex came home with 2 more canaries! We put them in cages and decided to reshuffle the breeding pairs.
Alex and Vio went to a football match – Melbourne City in a final. it was Alex’s first time. he really enjoyed it. they had a great view. I got lots of detail from Alex about what happened, including a seagull that got hit, tricks and tackles that he saw. He was very interested by the injuries at the time.
