Wednesday was park day. the kids tidied up their woodland base camp as they had found it had been tampered with. Alex has wanted to play ‘I spy’ again recently and has really impressed me – I couldn’t get f for flash or d for decorations on the drive home. Alex groups the letters t & r to make ‘tr’ and can’t separate them yet, so when he has an ‘I spy’ for truck or trampoline he says ‘something beginning with tr’.
On Thursday the kids and I had lots of morning cuddles and headed to a hs friends house. It was the first time so kids very excited. Alex’s friendship with this girl is really great. They are a lovely family. The play went well, though it was very, very loud!
On Friday I dropped Alex with Gigi as I had to take Daniel to the hospital to audiology. We watched the meerkats in the hospital and got some great news – Daniel’s ears had healed perfectly with no scarring and his hearing is more than adequate. We went home and the kids went to gymnastics, followed by Alex at karate.
Saturday Alex went to a football academy, then had Gigi watch him attend karate/ju-jitsu presentation followed by dinner with Vio’s sister at her place – a busy day!
AND NO PICTURES – what a slack week!
